Rooted in Matthew 5:13, SALTED™ exists to equip believers to embody the call to be the salt of the earth. Just as salt preserves, cleanses, and enhances, so too are believers to impact the world around them, transform culture, and advance the Kingdom of God—preserving the earth from moral decay, ridding it of its most gross injustices, and bringing solutions to its greatest problems. Thus, SALTED™ was created to teach, strengthen, and empower believers to boldly and unapologetically take dominion in the earth, fully embracing and walking in their identity as a salted one.

The Story Behind SALTED™

My experience in education and ministry spans 18+ years. Straight out of college, I accepted my call to ministry and landed my first job as an adjunct professor at a local county college. After accepting the call to preach, I served as a Bible study teacher, youth leader/director, and lay minister, often traveling to share the gospel and lead faith-based workshops in various locations and settings in the tri-state area. Soon after, I entered seminary where I earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree which further sharpened my theological foundation and supported my commitment to biblical scholarship.

Upon graduating, I returned to the field of education. Throughout my career as an educator, I held various roles in and out of the classroom, including positions of leadership in which I trained and coached teachers, led school-wide initiatives to minimize achievement gaps, restructured curricula, designed and facilitated high-quality professional development, and developed strategies to strengthen instructional practices school-wide. During my tenure, I also earned a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy which deepened my knowledge of pedagogy, designing effective learning experiences, and best practices in instruction based on research. I ended my career in the public school system as an educational leader in the role of an instructional coach.

After almost 10 years in middle school education, God began to place a new desire in my heart and draw me out. Following my departure, I realized that the efforts for building high-quality, structured learning programs that incorporated sound pedagogical practices was lacking in the Church. I asked myself: Where are the resources for helping faith leaders and organizations build strong programming for equipping believers? How can Bible studies, discipleship classes, Sunday schools and small groups become more than just glorified devotional discussion groups? And what about the faith-based organizations that offer traditional schooling for believers who often have to trade quality education to help meet the desire of parents who wish to educate their children in a space that also nurtures the development of their child’s faith? These questions led to the birth of SALTED™—a company that converges my years of experience in education and call to provide high-quality, innovative strategies for those seeking to transform faith-based education programs and initiatives. In essence, SALTED™ seeks to be the pioneer in transforming the landscape of education in Christendom--whether by providing consulting, resources, training or development courses, my goal is to ensure that the Kingdom of God is producing citizens who are rooted, grounded, and equipped to stand firm in their faith and take dominion in their respective spheres of influence.

SALTED™ is a company whose core value is built around a strong educational ethic. Therefore, its mission is to strengthen, develop, and support the education, instructional, and training efforts of individuals, leaders, ministries, and faith-based organizations in three main ways:

• Education & Development –courses, trainings, workshops, and professional development

• Consulting Services – course auditing and design, curriculum development and reconfiguration

• Product Development – Digital resources, books, templates, curriculums, and study plans

While our long-term goals include efforts that will extend beyond faith-based spaces, education, training, and development in this context is the focus of this company’s initial endeavors.
